Intraoral Cameras & Chairside Monitors
In the past, patients couldn’t see what the dentist saw inside their mouths. An explanation of findings and X-ray images were the only ways to convey information about an individual’s oral health. Now, thanks to our intraoral camera, patients relax in the dental chair and view images from inside their mouth on a chairside monitor. It’s like a movie of your mouth, magnified 35 times! Intraoral images are an excellent teaching tool that let patients become equal partners in treatment planning. If you want a copy of the images, we’ll print them for you!

Surgical Telescopes
When Dr. Blanchard works on your teeth, he'll most likely wear a funny-looking pair of glasses. These glasses are actually surgical telescopes that let him see and evaluate intricate details as he works, making tiny but important adjustments not possible with the unaided eye.

Have you ever seen one of those coal miner's helmets with the light mounted on top? Those helmets allow miners to see into very dark places.
