Invisalign® Clear Braces

Sometimes, a patient’s upper jaw is too narrow for orthodontic treatment to be effective. To correct this issue, we offer palatal expanders – oral appliances that gradually widen the palate (the roof of the mouth) – for children and teens to wear before getting braces or Invisalign. This device attaches to a few of the upper back teeth and applies gentle pressure that expands the upper arch. It will need to be adjusted regularly throughout the several months (on average) that it is worn.
